Courtesy of Minion, who has started biting more often again, probably due to his increased caging while we were fixing the reclining couch to be safe for him. Thankfully he’s a “play” biter, which means he nips but doesn’t break the skin when he gets really excited from playing (or smelling pogle’s feet).

Don’t ask.

We’re trying a couple of methods to discourage it, but so far nothing appears to be helping. It’s frustrating because he’s obviously an intelligent animal, but I guess we’re frustrating him too since he’s not been able to play out of his cage as much as he needs to. We’re trying to do better, but I get upset when the bathroom accidents happen because so far my preventative measures haven’t really helped (corner protectors are always too small, put a litter pan in a corner he used yesterday and he’ll decide he likes another corner better or just spill the litter, etc). Argh.

I’ve definitely lost my cool a couple of times with him, which I think scares all of us since I’m usually the calm one around here. So lots of behavior modification on all accounts, human and fur ball. *sigh*
