About 5 AM this morning he started vomiting, and continued to do so until we took him to the vet at 9:15 AM. His manner and symptoms were severe enough that our local vet referred us to a ferret specialist about 45 minutes away, so we drove Minion up there for examination. Long story short, we now know of a ferret specialist in the area (yay!) and Min is under supervision and getting fluids for dehydration. The status as of the moment is that he&#8217;s gone from listless at 12 PM to feisty around 6 PM, probably due to the IV. He&#8217;ll be under supervision throughout the night to determine if surgery is needed to remove a blockage.
