Minion is still doing ok.\u00c2\u00a0 He’s spent a lot of time sleeping, even for a ferret.\u00c2\u00a0 He wasn’t interested in much playtime, aside from a short walk around the bedroom last night, which while abnormal isn’t a bad thing; we’re to limit his physical activity for several days while he recovers.<\/p>\n
He’s not been very enthusiastic overall about his medicine.\u00c2\u00a0 The liquid component (which reminds me of pepto bismol) gets… messy, at times, with the head shaking and the little droplets sprayed everywhere.\u00c2\u00a0 But I’m told he handled it much better this morning.\u00c2\u00a0 He’s also started eating more on his own (we had to coax him to eat somewhat initially), and his odorous other end is functioning properly and frequently, if not in quite the copious amounts we’re accustomed to (due to the lack of a full and normal quantity of food I’m sure).<\/p>\n
And he’s definitely cranked up the cuteness factor a couple notches.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 He looks very pathetic and very bored when he wants to.\u00c2\u00a0 We’re still keeping him separate from the others for a time, as he needs to be 100% better before we let him resume the rough and tumble ferrety lifestyle.\u00c2\u00a0 His leg had a bit of dried blood this morning from the IV wound, we think he might’ve chewed or scratched at it some, and we don’t want it breaking open completely due to wrestling with Jack-jack or something.<\/p>\n
